Jackasses at scientific center~!

- The Penguins -

Those were the most depressed, emo, lazy ass penguins I’ve ever seen. They’re rightfully named Jackasses in comparison to the ones we’re familiar with which are called Emperors. Of course this is coming from a penguin enthusiast, so that’s why I’m cranky. If you really know me then you know about my unconditional love to penguins. If you wrong a penguin in front of me, I’d probably end your bloodline and turn your grave into a public bathroom.

- The Aquarium -

Many years ago, in the late 90’s I went to the Scientific Center and I was awed by the amazing creatures, fish tanks and all the magical things. I kept bragging about this magical place unil I came back today, nearly 11 years later. I realized I was just a small Arab boy who didn’t know much in life. The tanks looked so tiny and boring, nothing caught my eye except some fish genitalia either humping the glass or licking it for food.

I loved the Kuwaiti kids working there, some of them looked depressed in a suicidal way and others were perky and fun to the point where you wanted to slap them silly with a sense of reality.

To sum my experience, when I went to Dubai Atlantis’ aquarium, which’s a 30 minute walk according to the brochure, I spent nearly 2 hours there snapping pictures of everything and posing homosexually with the Atlantean warrior figures. In Kuwait’s Aquarium only one thing yanked me to take a picture of it.

All the info-screens were turned off or unplugged. I don’t know if they’re brand new to be just but they took away my God given privilege of pretending to read and look interested with an educated  “Hmm!” look!

- Class and etiquette in Kuwait -

On a lighter yet important note, the Kuwaiti population need to have a sense of museum etiquette. Something is deeply wrong with a nation when they lack the class of letting people take their turn and enjoy displays at a museum of any sort. Whether it’s barging in front of you and slowly sliding in your place, or just standing next to you and talking loudly killing any sense of enjoyment you might’ve had.

End of transmission.

Is it ok if I read your post backwards?

Comment by Noorah

Sure but if you find any satanic meanings then it’s completely accidental. =O

I discovered this matter as early as when I first stepped in KU newly-designed-airport ( that costs millions btw and honestly the money was better off to be spent on importing cute penguins like I care)

.. in order to be amazed by what we have in this country .. don’t see what the countries nextdoor have, they just make us seem we still live in the stone age.

Then Kuwait’s magnificant! We have Kuwait Towers, Scientific Center, Avenues and 360 mall! Also, Slider Station! =O

Why hello there Mr. Glass-half-empty. I’m guessing when you woke up you found yourself sleep on the rug, not even the bed :P.

Hmm, the poor penguins do look depressed. Kind of reminds me of the depressed dog in BIg Mama’s House 2, who got served tequila as a mean to end his depression. Then again, the question that arises then would have to be: muslim penguins? and how strict?

“I’d probably end your bloodline and turn your grave into a public bathroom” * Reads this and attempts to snort – epic failure*.

“Posing homosexually with the Atlantean warrior figures”. HAHAHA. Pictures? Pretty please with a cherry on top? :P

I beg to differ on the “Kuwaiti population need to have a sense of museum etiquette” – the whole Arab world does!

Yet another of Suspic’s sexy adventures ;P

To my credit, I see the glass half empty in lots of things, but I see it as half full in people. =O

For example, if I see a prostitute I’d think of how she got to prostitution rather than curse her to hell.

On a relevant note, I will not post my slutty pictures for less than a 1,000KD. :D

Housten we have a problem. Suspic forgot to put ‘I aim to please’ in his reply! =O. Shocker ;p

I see. You’re the ‘for a pessimist, I’m pretty optimistic’ type. Meh. It’s okay. I don’t I would enjoy reading this half as much if you described to them the wonders of the places you visit.

Prostitues. After reading Coelho’ s Elven Minutes my perspective has forever changed. But that’s a discussion for another time :p

As for the pictures – two words: party pooper.
